These functionalization treatments can give the slide different properties, such as enhanced interaction with biomolecules, cells, or other samples, to improve experimental efficiency. Common functionalized slides include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Biomolecule fixation slides: coated with specific antibodies, proteins, DNA probes, etc., capable of fixing or capturing specific molecules for immunofluorescence, ELISA, in situ hybridization and other experiments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Hydrophilic\/Hydrophobic Slides: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dxfluidics.com\/en\/product\/surface-modification\/2126\/2126\/\" target=\"_self\">chemically modified<\/a> to render the surface of the slide hydrophilic or hydrophobic for controlling the adhesion and distribution of cells or biomolecules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) slides: surface-modified self-assembled monomolecular layers that provide highly controllable functionality and are widely used in surface science and biosensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Nano-functionalized slides: the surface of a slide is modified by nanomaterials such as gold nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, etc. to enhance its
